Info
Warm Slime is a studio album by American psychedelic rock band Thee Oh Sees, released on May 11, 2010. The album is the fourth to be released under the name Thee Oh Sees, and is the band's tenth studio album, overall. The album's liner notes state that the album was recorded live at 60 6th street in San Francisco in one day, one week after the gay pride parade 2009 on a tascam 388. 60 6th Street in San Francisco was, at the time, the location of Club Six, a hip hop club where John Dwyer worked. THEE OH SEES - FLOATING COFFIN 2013 FULL VINYL - Продолжительность: 41:08 Igor Karevski. Thee Oh Sees Singles Collection Volume 3 - Продолжительность: 35:37 in case Thee Oh Sees mastery of fuzz-addled psych rock had ever been in doubt, this 2010 album arrives front-loaded with a churning, 13-minute manifesto of a title track. From there, the Bay Area marauders keep the songs much shorter but every bit as dazed and askew, channeling 13th Floor Elevators on both the raucous release of I Was Denied and the singsong delirium of Everything Went Black. Though distortion reigns supreme, the throttling hooks and ecstatic melodies come through loud and clear. Warm Slime Thee Oh Sees. For a band that sound as if they subsist on a steady diet of cheap hallucinogens, Thee Oh Sees are an admirably ambitious bunch Warm Slime is the fourth album in three years from John Dwyer and his roving band of psychedelic marauders, and if the liner notes are to be believed, they committed this album to tape in a single day in. Thee Oh Sees manage to simultaneously evoke Suicide, Them and The Fall on their latest album of echoey, dense psychedelia. Drowned In Sound. Once again: there are six more songs on this album. Six songs that really aren't bad at all. But once your needle has dropped to the end of side one, it's only going back to the beginning again. Genre: Garage Rock. Im not too sure about this album because although I still love the garage rock style of the early Oh Sees but there's just less quality found here. I still liked it dont get me wrong, just the production is a little off and none of the songs is amazing. Fav Song: MT Work Least Fav: Everything Went Black
