Info

Let It Be. Naked is an alternative mix of the Beatles' 1970 album Let It Be, released on 17 November 2003 by Apple Records. The project was initiated by Paul McCartney, who felt that the original album's producer, Phil Spector, did not capture the group's intended stripped-down aesthetic. Naked consists largely of newly mixed versions of the Let It Be tracks while omitting the excerpts of incidental studio chatter and most of Spector's embellishments. It also omits two tracks from the 1970 release. The Beatles ʖ It BeLet It Be Naked is the stripped-down, return-to-live-takes album that The Beatles originally aimed to create, free of vocal and instrumental overdubs or added effects. Let It Be evolved from an original plan to make a television show featuring the group playing tracks from the recent White Album. That idea changed in three ways. First, abandoning the easier path, they opted to learn a completely new batch of songs for the televised concert. Let It Be Naked - Trailer. To favorites 4 Download album. Listen album. Classic Rock AOR Soft Rock. Its difficult to review Let It Be. Naked without drowning in the welter of vexed issues that shattered the Beatles. For a start, Naked is being hyped in a musical nod to the directors cut as the bands take - that is, the stripped-down version of the album the Beatles intended to make as they embarked on what was then thought of as Get Back in 1969. This notion, of course, is ridiculous. The unfortunate truth is that John Lennon and George Harrison are dead, and, whatever its merits, Naked exists essentially as an excuse for Paul McCartney, after decades of complaining, to finally. Naked stripped away the studio chatter and Phil Spector post-production from The Beatles swansong Let It Be, presenting a release closer to the groups original vision. The project came about following a chance meeting between Paul McCartney and the Let It Be film director Michael Lindsay-Hogg. McCartney had long been aggrieved by the Let It Be album, particularly the Spectors 1970 post-production work which added his Wall of Sound signature to several songs. Chief among McCartneys objections was The Long And Winding Road, which he felt had been transformed from a simple piano ballad to a full-blown orchestral epic without his consent. Naked is a 2003 album by The Beatles. It is a remixed & remastered version of their 1970 album Let It Be. The project was overseen by Paul McCartney, who felt that Phil Spector's production did not accurately represent the group's stripped-down intentions for the original album. Naked presents the songs. Let It Be was the last album that The Beatles came out, right after the Group in april 1970 announced to part ways. The recordings were all of more than a year earlier, still before the Abbey Road sessions, which earlier on the market. The underlying idea was to the songs at one time on the band but the musicianship of the band members was, through years not to act, to very deteriorated to convince without overdubs. This alternate take on Let It Be enhances the album's power, reclaiming the raw, unadorned quality that was meant to be its calling card from the beginning. Track Listing - Disc 1. If ever an album was born out of acrimony it was Let It Be. Patched together from desultory sessions for an aborted TV documentary eventually released in cinemas it was originally McCartney's baby. He'd urged the fraying foursome into action, reasoning that a return to their twelve bar roots might re-energise a unit who'd grown sick of each other. Yet this project does cast the album in a fresh and remarkably invigorating light. Gone are the snippets and knockabout stuff ''Maggie Mae'', ''Dig It'' etc and finally the heartfelt ''Don't Let Me Down'' from the rooftop session gets a proper airing

The underlying idea was to the songs at one time on the band but the musicianship of the band members was, through years not to act, to very deteriorated to convince without overdubs. Record producer Phil Spector at the last minute was attracted to from hundreds of hours of tape to put together an album. Are heavily orchestrated contributions were especially detested by Paul McCartney. More than thirty years on, are under his leadership the remixed recordings, without the additions of Spector. Songs like The Long And Winding Road and I Me Mine are sure gone ahead but to niemendalletjes as Dig A Pony and For You Blue is not much to tinker. The extra added version of Don't Let Me Down is suffering under the unsteady vocals by John Lennon. Thus Let It Be ... Although something more coherent naked sounds than the original but not necessarily more convincing. On the bonus cd is over twenty minutes of studio interviews and first attemps of songs, which are actually more interesting for the Beatles fan.
