The Peel Session is a collection of recordings by Syd Barrett released on 25 January 1987. This EP contains the five songs he performed for the John Peel Top Gear show, recorded on 24 February 1970 and broadcast shortly after. The Redskins were an English band formed in 1982, notable for their Trotskyite politics and whose music combined influences from soul, rockabilly, pop and punk rock. The band formed in York, England in 1982 from the ashes of punk band No Swastikas, with Chris Dean vocalsguitar, Martin Hewes bassbacking vocals and Nick King drums.
