The sound of Io is pretty much what to expect from Djent, Metalcore riffs and vocals, clean sections and general progressivism. The problem with Io and most recent Djent outings is the fact that instead of finding their own sound, they are simply content to regurgitate their peers, providing nothing unique or exciting with Io. They managed to create an original and unique sound with crazy and irresistible grooves which show they're now ready to be recognized among the big names of the UK's modern progressive metal front. Consequence is an album by American saxophonist Jackie McLean recorded in 1965, but not released on Blue Note until 1979 as LT-994.
