Naked is the debut studio album by English new wave and synth-pop band Kissing the Pink, released in February 1983 by Magnet Records. The album reached No. 54 on the UK Albums Chart in April 1983, and produced their Top 20 hit The Last Film. The song was their best performing single in the UK, and the only one to break the top 75. Kissing the Pink's debut album, Naked, followed in the grand tradition of eccentric art-school collectives like Deaf School - pulling influences and members from all over the map, without a care for fashionability or marketability and, ultimately, giving rise to an album that sounds little like anything else created before or since. Long out of print and scarcely available in the digital realm, Naked was coveted well past its expiration date.
