It is a loose concept album dealing with themes of mythology, religion, life, and death. The album is divided into four acts and draws inspiration from theatre, and the operatic nature of Queen. Even though the album was designed as an opera, the act-based structure only came as an afterthought. It was all about structure. Just ordering the songs so that there was a general orientation, complication and resolution.
