The Unreal Never Lived is the fourth full-length album by American band YOB. It was released in August 2005 under Metal Blade. Mike Scheidt - vocal, guitars. Isamu Sato - bass. Travis Foster - drums. gig by Yob at the 2012 Roadburn fest in Tilburg. They were playing The Unreal Never Lived completely on the main stage. The 013 was packed, original incarnation of YOB featured Scheidt alongside bassist Lowell Iles and drummer Greg Ocon. However, by the time of recording the 2001 album Elaborations of Carbon, YOB comprised Scheidt, bassist Isamu Sato, previously with death metal act Thrombus and former Lightweight drummer Gabe Morley.
