Info

GodWeenSatan: The Oneness is the debut album by American rock band Ween, released on November 16, 1990, by TwinTone Records. The album introduces several key themes for the group, including their eclecticism, gonzo sense of humor, and their demon godmascot, the Boognish. The reissue featured digitally remastered sound, new. Ween's debut album, God Ween Satan: The Oneness, is a massive, near-overwhelming bombardment of profanity, hard rock riffing, and goofy genre parody. But no matter how absurd Ween are being, they always manage to accomplish a seemingly contradictory task: sounding exactly like every band operating within the genres they attack while sounding only like themselves. Like any 29-song schizophrenic freakout, God Ween Satan is not without its highly questionable moments. Common Bitch is a weaker version of You Fucked Up. Mushroom Festival in Hell gets points for sounding exactly like its name, but also loses points for sounding exactly like its name. God Ween Satan: The Oneness - Ween. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. GodWeenSatan: The Oneness is the 1st studio album by Ween. It was released January 1, 1990 and is comprised mainly of many but not all songs they had written during the 80s. God Ween Satan: The Oneness Q&A. Featuring Maharisha Lawrence E. Producers Andrew Weiss, Bird o Prey, TwinTone Records & 1 more. Writers Dean Ween, Gene Ween, Prince & 1 more. More Ween albums. Caesar Demos. Songs in album Ween - god ween satan - the oneness 1990. Ween - You Fucked Up. Ween - Tick. Ween - I'm In The Mood To Move. Ween - I Gots A Weasel. Ween - Mushroom Festival In Hell. Weeds Music from the Original TV Series, Vol. Freeman A, Melchiondo M. God Ween Satan: The Oneness. WMG от лица компании ADA Global CMRRA, Downtown Music Publishing и другие авторские общества 3. Album 1990 26 Songs. The 29-track debut from faux-bros Gene and Dean Ween debases the history of popular music into a nasty lo-fi scuzz while deifying its most outrageous excesses. No archetype is spared their absurdist attack: The rap-rock raunch of Old Queen Cole channels the early Beastie Boys at their most boorish Old Man Thunder skewers Bob Seger in a 19-second micro-satire of Night Moves. But on the nine-minute Prince pastiche . Weens approach to idolatry strikes the perfect balance of sacred and profane. GodWeenSatan: The Oneness Ween. Listen free to Ween GodWeenSatan: The Oneness You Fucked Up, Tick and more. 26 tracks 72:00. A gloriously ramshackle exploration of basement-rock excess, God Ween Satan has endured because it's as skillful as it is sidesplitting. Emerging after a string of self-released underground cassettes cemented the artistic partnership of high school pals Aaron Freeman and Mickey Melchiondo . Gene and Dean Ween, this double-LP opus was first released on the Minneapolis-based TwinTone label, best known for the reckless bar rock of The Replacements and Soul Asylum. At a whopping 23 tracks long, the album features a lot of noodling and lots of whacked-out pop, including Nan, a dweeby tale of unrequited love, and the jazzy Never Squeal, which shows off Ween's musical prowess and versatility

I just wish Schnitzel would reissue this, preferably with the bonus tracks from the 2001 remaster, along with other Ween albums they haven't put out yet.

It’s weird how this and the mollusk are my favorites, yet they were so hard to find originals at decent prices, they are very fragile to me, I mean I had two reorder because usps cracked mine, the second one kinda has wear I’m not happy with, but whatevs , I mean, I still want a reissue preferably with what you said, bonus tracks, you can’t go wrong with making a reissue worth it with bonus tracks or some gimmicky thing like gatefold, NOW that would be something with this. MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! Or let us die sad ???? .....

Soooo, this pressings sqelch the weasel has some distorted CH!! noises. I have TWO pressings of this and I also can never get a decent "puffy cloud" and "old man thunder" without heavy scratchy background noise. (actually found out I do have a scratch on these tracks on both vinyls) Other than that, it has its cool fully . Still wonder if those tracks are even a bother to worry about, very short and minor. Anybody else have this problem with squelch the weasel or the other songs?

I don't mind this pressing with almost all tracks playing flawlessly except some distortion on squelch the weasel and having alot of pops/clicks on puffy cloud/old man thunder.

Brings a tear to me eye that this doesn't have bumble bee pt 2... also puffy cloud is very quiet. No replacement for 1st edition, I suppose

It too, pains me to see no bonus tracks at all for vinyl, yet, I mentioned on my recent comment about having two pressings with distortion on squelch the weasel, makes me question to switch to CD collector instead. lol
