First Blood Last Cuts is the first compilation album by the American heavy metal band . Released in 1993, it was the first time the song, Animal Fuck Like a Beast, previously only released as a single in 1984, was released on an album. The album also included two new songs, Sunset and Babylon and Rock and Roll to Death. Rock and Roll to Death was later released on Still Not Black Enough, with Sunset and Babylon remaining exclusive to this CD, while others songs were re-mixed for. First Blood Last Cuts - . Machine, and Blind in Texas are wonderfully over the top. They make up for the misguided covers I Don't Need No Doctor, The Real Me and the stabs at rock opera Chainsaw Charlie, The Idol which follow. Uncharacteristic ballads such as Hold On to My Heart and Forever Free&. That record wound up being FIRST BLOOD, LAST CUTS, a best of . Along with 14 . classics, FIRST BLOOD, LAST CUTS also featured two brand new songs: Sunset & Babylon and Rock & Roll To Death. When we put out THE CRIMSON IDOL album we had a song Chainsaw Charlie that ruffled a lot of feathers with the president of the company at the time, explains Blackie Lawless. I hated the bastard anyway and I wasn't going to compromise my music so he thought the song was about him. I don't know which line bothere.
