Yes, Brown Nun is every bit as mental as you've heard and twice as dirty. F#cking hell, this is a contender for my favorite acid techno track ever. It's really up there in the Pantheon of screaming acid classics. The tune starts unassumingly enough, just a thumping kick and churning bassline, but even then, there's something in the air that lets you know insanity is just around the corner. So you strap on your techno boots, thinking you know the proverbial score and are well-equipped to handle the incoming sonics. Just after 3:30, the track stops to take a short breath, and before you know it, WHOOSH, you're well and truly on your way. A fierce and utterly demented acid line begins to lash away at your brain, scrambling your grey matter in a way that can only be described as delightfully frantic. And when you hit that 6:15 mark (or thereabouts), what can you do but lose your mind in the acid insanity? Unbelievable tune.
