I have this on tape going back many years and before the CDs this is prime blues going back from 1927-1953 of special lovliness is Bukka White on s 15 & 16 a marvelous, driving blues with so much energy and pleasure to hear repeatedly. The various artists are all well known, especially Robert Johnson and Son House. This is real blues and without the modern day instruments that detract from the real origin of the blues
