In an era when rock seemed to lose some of its political idealism, the Secret Policeman concerts kept that spirit alive with earnest performances for a good cause, and The Secret Policeman's Other Ball is no exception. The Secret Policeman's Ball is a series of benefit shows staged initially in the United Kingdom to raise funds for the human rights organisation Amnesty International.
