DJ Skribble's mix for Perfecto offers a more mainstream and American affair than the label usually releases, which may be alienating for fans who always think of Perfecto as the last word in progressive trance. Rather than the theatrical atmospheres and dreamy, widescreen melodies usually found on a Perfecto release, Skribble plays it hard and tribal with plenty of sensuality and a little camp figured in. DJ Skribble born October 10, 1968 is an Italian-American DJ, producer, remixer, radio personality and actor. In the early 1990s, he teamed up with Kamron, ATA, Firstborn and Tommy Never in Young Black Teenagers, who released two albums before splitting up. In 1996, he worked with Bill Irwin on the musical Hip Hop Wonderland. He also worked on Wyclef Jean's first album, as well as with another Fugee, Lauryn Hill.
