The Open'er Festival is a music festival which takes place on the north coast of Poland, in Gdynia. It is one of the biggest annual music festivals in Poland. Opener Festival won the Best Major Festival prize at the European Festivals Awards ceremony in 2009, 2010 and 2019. Opener Festival is not only a benchmark of scale, but also a pioneer of festival solutions, imitated by other events. We were the first to introduce the system of festival wristbands. Opener was the first to introduce the festival coupons and Mastercard PayPasscontactless ALTER kART, which are still used at the festival.
