is a seven-part British television crime drama series, co-written and created by Guy Ritchie, as a spin-off from his 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The series first broadcast on Channel 4 on 29 May 2000 with a feature-length pilot, Lock, Stock and Four Stolen Hooves. The series stars Daniel Caltagirone, Del Synnott, Scott Maslen and Shaun Parkes as close friends Moon, Jamie, Bacon and Lee, who run The Lock, a public house in London. Each episode focuses on the four. TV as it should be. I've only seen one episode but based on that one episode I am impressed. This is the type of TV that we should be getting all the time. I can't recommend this CD enough. The TV series was a perfect complement to the excellent film & this 2 disc set captures the truly classy soundtrack. The more recognisable songs include Blondie's Rapture, Ian Dury's What a Waste but it's the lesser known Rhythymn & Blues tracks that really shine. Who can argue with the pure class of Ike Turner's Prancing, Link Wray's The Wild One etc. Even if you are unfamiliar with the TV series this varied & excellent collection is a must for anyone's collection.
