This is the old Various - Endless Journey. Phase One boot from around 1979/1980 (says 1982 there but I don't think that's right).
They added a few extra tracks from Phases 2 & 3 and made a new comp with fresh artwork.
Some of the tracks sounded dubbed from cassette on the original vinyl (particularly Unsettled Society which sounded dire on record). They sound a little better on this CD.

These are all great tracks of slightly heavier garage and psychedelia from an era (maninly 1968+, although there's a few from 66/67) when the style was just passing into acid rock, prog and pre-heavy metal. Some tracks even stray into the early '70s if memory serves. Thankfully there's not too many examples of the manly chest-beating vocals and over-the-top guitar bothering often associated with the late 60s/early 70s.

The really great thing about this CD is the cheap price. You can get it for about £2 - so steam in.
