Notes
The back cover says:
"What you are about to hear is not just a handfull of songs put together to make a record, this is a message, and a dedication. A dedication to those who have fought and died for the loyal cause of Ulster, those who are still fighting, and to those loyal Protestants incarcerated in Long Kesh, Crumlin Road, and other concentration camps.
The message is a simple one. It was given to us many years ago by thirteen galant men, who closed the gates of Derry against King James' rebel hordes. The message is.... NO SURRENDER"
Info
The Ulster Volunteer Force UVF is an Ulster loyalist paramilitary group. It emerged in 1966. Its first leader was Gusty Spence, a former British soldier. The group undertook an armed campaign of almost thirty years during The Troubles. It declared a ceasefire in 1994 and officially ended its campaign in 2007, although some of its members have continued to engage in violence and criminal activities. The group is classified as a terrorist organisation by the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and. Ulster Volunteer Force in 1914. The Ulster Volunteers was a unionist militia founded in 1912 to block domestic self-government or Home Rule for Ireland, which was then part of the United Kingdom. The Ulster Volunteers were based in the northern province of Ulster. Many Ulster Protestants feared being governed by a Catholic-majority parliament in Dublin and losing their local governance and strong links with Great Britain. A Loyalist paramilitary group calling itself the Ulster Volunteer Force was formed in 1966. It claims to be a direct descendant of the older organisation and uses the same logo, but there are no organisational links between the two.
