Made & printed in U.S.A.This BMG Direct version of October is a curious hybrid. The catalog # as listed on the disc itself (under BMG's own "D" number) is the new catalog # 422-842 297-2 issued by Island in 1990 after its acquisition by PolyGram, and the address on the disc is the 14 E. 4th St. address found on other Island releases in 1990-1991, such as U2's Achtung Baby.

However, the catalog # found on the spine (7 90092-2) and back (90092-2) is the number that the October CD had while it was distributed by Atlantic, and the address on the back is still the Warner/Atlantic address at 75 Rockefeller Plaza. The barcode has been replaced by the same BMG number (D114632) that appears on the disc.

BMG must have used the tray card from the previous (Atlantic) printing with CDs manufactured after the sale.
