Throughout this time he has received awards including 4 ARIA Music Awards, 37 Golden Guitars, 9 Deadly Awards Australian Indigenous Artist Awards, 4 Country Music Association of Australia Entertainer of the Year awards and 2 National Indigenous Music Awards.
