I just wish the record companies would get off their butt and release the many great albums that have yet to see a digital release, including this one, on cd before the tapes are gone. Those master tapes wont be around forever. I would love a remastered version of this album, Sweat Pee 1966, and his Dizzy album.

Agreed! However, the master tapes for a lot of his material were destroyed in the extremely-tragic 2008 Universal fire that wiped out a lot of artists' material, including Tommy Roe. In the early 1970s, ABC messed up big time, too: all Mono master tapes and a lot of multitracks masters were destroyed to save space! However, there is still luck. It is possible that second generation tapes exist outside of the U.S., so one could try to find locate them... but who knows. A friend of mine sent Real Gone Music an email about an album or a singles collection (they were the ones who released The Grass Roots' mono singles collection). No reply from them. Maybe one day someone will release his material in the highest quality form possible. In the mean time, "Sheila' and "Everybody Likes Tommy Roe" have been re-released by BGO Records. Both of them are very high quality; "Sheila" is from the original Stereo master tapes (this CD came out in 2004) and "Everybody Likes Tommy Roe" is either from tape or near mint vinyl. There is a questionable grey area release of "Sheila" and "Something for Everybody" on CD, but I don't own it. I've been meaning to get it but I wouldn't pay a whole lot of it. Seems interesting. ---"It's Now Winter's Day" and "Phantasy" have been re-released a few times. Fallout (a U.K. label) released both albums on CD, but the sound quality is so-so. They're both from ehh-quality vinyl (by the sound and by some analyzation I conducted) and they're also in Mono. The second re-release, "Paisley Dreams," is a two-fer of both of these albums from Rev-Ola and it was apparently licensed by Universal. "It's Now Winter's Day" is in Stereo from... possibly vinyl (sound wise that is; rumble and some surface noise). It sounds alright-good but it's not great-spectacular. "Phantasy" is once again in mono and from vinyl. Both albums were re-released separately digitally but they were digital versions of the ones listed.--- "Dizzy," surprisingly was released by Geffen in Japan. It was apparently remastered from the analog master tapes (how? where?). It was released a few years back. I plan on getting it next. It also contains some bonus tracks, too. Also, speaking of Japan, "Sheila" and "It's Now Winter's Day" was re-released by Oldays Records as well. I haven't heard much about those releases, but since I have both albums either on CD and/or vinyl, I haven't grabbed them. Maybe at some point but for now, no. ---Anyways, I hope this was informative! A bit long but I figured it could be of help to you or someone else.
