Part of the Ethnic Sound Series by Victor released primarily in Japan, this album deals with cross beat drumming from the Senegalese island of Fadiouth. The recording presumably took place during a festival, and the audience is noticeable as such though that should be taken as a plus, given the artificial sound of many studio recordings of African music.
