Misery is the sixth studio album by Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction. The album was released on 24 August 2018. It is the first album without drummer Ryan Burt, following his departure in February 2018. It is also the first album to feature Joel Birch performing clean vocals on some tracks on the album along with the album being a departure from the band's usual straight metalcore sound and instead included some electronic elements on top of the metalcore sound. It is the band's final. There are two nearly identical versions of this release. One is a promotional version, it was probably released first of the two: it has tiny text on both disc and rear credits saying "For promotional use only - not for sale". This commercial version has the big 5" x 5" sticker overlayed over the rear credits, but otherwise uses the identical Digipak case to the promotional version, so the promotional text is covered up. However, the disc itself is different from the promo version and does not have the promotional wording on it.
