Theaudience is the only album from British band Theaudience. The album was released on 17 August 1998, peaking at 22 on the UK Albums Chart. The band featured now-solo artist Sophie Ellis-Bextor on lead vocals. Four singles were released from the album. The band's singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor became a successful solo artist after the band's disbandment. Theaudience were founded by guitarist Billy Reeves, formerly of the indie group Congregation.
