Soundboard recording of the full concert of July 1st, 1983 at Dingwalls, Kingston upon Hull, UK -- the last gig of The Sisters's UK Spring Tour in 1983 -- plus a further two songs from the soundcheck before the gig.

This present release is part of the second edition titled "A Fire In The Hull" (third edition if one counts the precursor to the series which was a very limited white label simply titled "Live In Hull 1983".

This 2nd edition was released in four different vinyl colors with printed labels and printed picture sleeve:

-clear
-solid white
-solid red
-solid orange (this release)

Most sleeves have a small sticker on the top front. Each sticker's color corresponds to the inside vinyl's color (a white sticker is used both for the white vinyl and the clear vinyl). The sticker says: "LIMITED EDITION VINYL".

The Sisters of Mercy are an English rock band, formed in 1980 in Leeds. After achieving early underground fame there, the band had their commercial breakthrough in the mid-1980s and sustained it until the early 1990s, when they stopped releasing new recorded output in protest against their record company WEA. Currently, the band are a touring outfit only. The group has released three original studio albums, the last of which was released in 1990. Each album was recorded by a different line-up singer. This bootleg was first released as Live In Hull 1983 picture up left and then reissued as A Fire In The Hull pictures up centre & right.
