A Day Late And A Dollar Short is a compilation album by the American punk rock band the Queers, released in January 1996 by Lookout Records. It collects material recorded between 1982 and 1994, most of it with original member Wimpy Rutherford. It includes the band's first two EPs, 1982's Love Me and 1984's Kicked Out of the Webelos, several demo tracks recorded in 1991, 16 tracks recorded during a January 1993 reunion with Rutherford, and a complete set of early songs recorded live on radio station. In 1997, the group released their first and only studio album, A Day Late & A Dollar Day Late And A Dollar Short is a compilation of The Queers earlier material from 1982 through 1994. Originally released in 1996 by Lookout Records, it was remastered by Mass Giorgini and re-released in 2007 by Asian Man Records. It is now back on CD for the first time on over 10 years courtesy of Rad Girlfriend Records. That lineup performed a 16 song set on New Jersey's WFMU, which is the final track on the album. The remaining four tracks on the record are demos of songs that end up on later Queers albums in an attempt to get Ben Weasel to produce their album.
