The Pigs were the little brothers of The Cortinas in the Bristol punk scene in 1977. They were the ones who were due to support the Sex Pistols but the venue burned down the day before. Like the Cortinas, theirs was avery Pub RockPunk hybrid guitars and speed were all that was needed. They didn't stimulate the metal end of the genre, so quickly faded away after one highly regarded single.
