none of the originals were perfect mine has had pops and crackles from new they were poorly pressed. i had to put mine onto mp3 then edit it with soundforge to get rid of the pops and crackles.

Whoa! Is the third track on the A side the inspiration for the record label out of Detroit of the same name? Very spacey feel to it...almost haunting, but with a funky percussion. Talk about foreshadowing. Over all, this is a 5 star record. There isn't a weak cut on the record, and I agree that Strange Creatures is the best track on here, but it is a seriously tough decision. Larry Heard performing way above the clouds on this one.

'Mad' Mike Banks was/is certainly a very big fan Of Larry Heard (who isn't?!). And didn't Mike also get influenced by 'Stars' on Red Planet 2 - 'Star Dancer' ? Detroit and Chicago would often influence each other at times.
