The Beatles early releases were on the Vee-Jay, Swan and Tollie labels, before EMIs US counterpart, Capitol, sat up and took notice. Unfortunately for The Beatles, Capitol often insisted in dropping certain tracks, reassembling running orders and constructing new releases by economic and judicious use of the songs that were coming from London. The Capitol albums also contained a handful of alternative mixes and instrumental tracks not available anywhere else. Some of these are available on the Capitol Albums volumes, and are worth investigating for anyone interested in variations in tracklis. The Beatles had recently been in a downer lyrics phase during Beatles For Sale, but Help shows the lads at their cheeky, fun loving finest with a perfect mix of upbeat rock n roll with maturing lyrics. John in particular shines with aongs like Youve Got To Hide Your Love Away, Ticket To Ride, Youre Gonna Lose That Girl etc. not to mention the title track itself. This is my favorite album along with With the Beatles and A Hard Days Night. It just never gets old. The Beatles Love Songs compilation, I received for Christmas first Beatles album, it is of course a double. I loved it and I still love the Beatles. The U. For its 11 songs, Capitol borrowed the remaining five tracks from With the Beatles, their most recent single She Loves You, Ill Get You and four stray tracks: Long Tall Sally and I Call Your Name from a British EP, Thank You Girl the From Me to You B-side and You Cant Do That, from the. McCartney does kick up the silly sing-along All Together Now these days in concert. Abbey Road Sept. 1969: The last songs the Beatles recorded - though not the last LP. Abbey Road has the range of The White Album, but on just one disc. And it's the Beatles' rockingest record. Side one begins with Lennon's cryptic Come Together and follows with Ha. No doubt the Chilean tape release has a curious name for a record known as "Hey Jude". The reason was very simply, "Hey Jude" record must be the first or one of the first albums in stereo released by Chilen EMI Odeon label. So, to make the difference "Hey Jude" and all new vinyls from then, had the inscription "MONO-STEREO COMPATIBLE" at the top of the back cover. Surely, as the LP "Hey Jude" had no visible title, the tape edition took that "Compatible" term from the ignorance of what that meant, and it sounded good for a title.
