Lovely little festive Beach Boys single released here in the UK for the first time, and amazingly in it's Stereo mixes.

Due to the time of the year this special reduced size EMI family album labels design, Capitol, Columbia, HMV, Parlophone, $tateside, (Both Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra had their 20 Golden Greats TV album teaser 45's orginally released with the same white boxed logos/ silver text on Black and naturally all 4pin OC dinked) was released as the teaser tie-in for both Stack O' Tracks and the stereo re-release of the Christmas album. It should be noted that the UK Capitol album labels had gone from the vomit green Target design to straight to the Salmon Pink and green logo text at 6 o'clock. This corporate EMI family Capitol label was used on the first runs EMI-TV Capitol Albums, Beach Boys, Sinatra, Cole, Dr Hook, Glen Campbell 20 golden greats albums. Later re-press/runs first had the new representation of the Silver on Black Capitol Dome and Stars as per 60's UK 45's then switched to silver on wine odd I know but blame the pap at the tower,

who ever did that target giant C logo esp the vomit lime green album labels and then the salmon pink with bottom cut-off green text logo should be taken up to the roof wired to the beacon and shot!

The ranibow labels and the Blue painted on an oval wooden plaque logo really did the job and in my HO are the best. (I assume Vee-Jay copied the rainbow rim trim ??? No comment abut the USA Yellow/orange swirl 45 labels they are the bees knees, could have clearly sold much more Beach Boys singles here had the labels been so bright and catchy, so swinging 60's etc rather than the hideously bland and dull wine then black base great corporate marketing.........not)
