I have I Robot and Pyramid on vinyl and cd and I was pleased to have digital versions of my scratchy original albums. When I came to buy the cd of Tales of Mystery and Imagination I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Orson Welles followed by totally dated guitar playing which for me ruins this album. The first Alan Parsons Album I bought and still enjoy as, in terms of progressive music one of the leaders of its time. With the use of synthesizers, drums, guitar, and even a glockenspiel, Parsons' shivering effects make way for an eerie excursion into Poe's well-known classics.
