The song I really like on this Ep is the second one "Place on Earth". Love how this song kicks up in intensity a few times especially at 5:35 and holds the intensity at each juncture. It never let's up. This song can be found on one other mixed comp, but the comp is nothing special and full of Garden variety Goa Trance that is found everywhere. The first song on this Ep, "Karma 209" is okay, but I am not so into the greatest hits of Goa Trance [with a few exceptions].........and the song becomes rather redundant to me. If I was listening and dancing to a set of Classic Goa Trance and this song came on, it would break the spell for me. There are a lot of songs that can potentially do that and most of them are very popular. Cut 2 is the standout track.

Wonderful old school goa trance, with heavy reliance on hypnotizing acid passages.
The absolute stand out is Karma 209, which gained cult status and notoriety due to appearances on several compilations which had relative mass exposure. This vinyl is pretty rare and usually fetches high prices.
The sound is Schuldt's basic and trademark repetitive hypnosis with very accurate and 'melodic' use of the TB-303; he doesn't just use it for climaxes or piercing effects, he crafts multiple harmonic passages, layering the acid and the main leads shoulder to shoulder, creating dense, mellow soundscapes.
This release, however, I find particularly impressive, as it's not as stomping or in your face as many of the projects he was involved in.
Karma 209 has a beautiful build up before breaking into an exuberant acidic goa trance epic some three minutes deep, and then diving back into a longer break later on, just to resurface once again with all its charm. The final result is a well orchestrated journey, which at no time sounds overloaded, yet at any given moment there are at least two fully developed passages intermingling.
Overall, a great one, and very well worth your time, given you can find it. A release which successfully blends uptempo, highly melodic goa trance with more menacing acid. Arguably my favorite Tim Schuldt release. Given its scarcity, I suggest tracking Karma 209 down first, and if you really dig that one, then give your best to hunt this item down, since there are two more track hot on its heels, and I see no reason why you wouldn't want to enjoy them as well.
