Rinaldi was born in Buenos Aires. For eight years, beginning in 1949, she studied music at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música. In 1955 she entered the Escuela de Arte Dramático School of Dramatic Arts, remaining there for two years. 1957 saw her debut on television and two years later she appeared on the stage in a major theater production.
