Spencer Bohren born Spencer Ward Bohren on 5 April 1950 died 8 June 2019 was an American roots musician, singer, songwriter, teacher, and visual artist. He played guitar, lap steel guitar, banjo, and percussion, and utilized the roots of American traditional music to write songs in blues, country, gospel and folk styles. Way out in the country where the pavement ends is where the dirt roads begin. Don't be fooled by the title - this is contemporary but laid-back blues played from the heart.
