About The Hardness of the World. The Hardness of the World Q&A. As funky as they were, Slave had a distinctive smoothness to their music. Here on their second album, the self-contained ten-member band assembled an engaging mix of songs. This collection featured two releases. The first was The Party Song. Arranged around a swinging funk track and chanting vocals in unison, group leader Steve Washington invokes a jazzy trumpet interlude. The single peaked on the Billboard R&B charts at number 22 after an unjust ten weeks. Hardness Of The World. Slave 24-02-2009. Общая длительность:38 min. Life Can Be Happy. Автор: C. Bradley - D. Whilst the album is stylistically similar and no more advanced musically than slide there aren't any half arsed B-sides thrown on. The balleds are much better also proving that slave are by no means one-dimensional. The only weak tracks are can't get enough of you, which doesn't flow and sounds a little forced. And Volcano erupting which sounds like a bit of a rush job and is too long. Slave - can't get enough of you 4:10. Slave, The Hardness of the World - Baby Sinister 6:48. Slave - the world's on hard 3:31. Slave - the party song 4:12. We Can Make Love 5:32
