Sentenced is a band that has grown out of the darker and heavier brutal death metal scene to a much more melodic band with widespread appeal, largely due to their new vocalist Ville Laihiala. This has worked well for the band, but that doesn't mean that there aren't any good songs in their old material. Amok was a good album, but lacked mainstream appeal.
