Counterparts is the fifteenth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released October 19, 1993 on Anthem Records. After they finished touring their previous album Roll the Bones 1991 in mid-1992, the band took a break before they started work on a follow-up. Counterparts reached No. 2 in the US, one of their two highest-charting albums in the country, and No. 6 in Canada.
