Info
Roto originally began as a live band for ex-Grendel brain trust David Arbury and Carleton Ingram, who provided all the melodies and then invited a different drummer to sit in for each show. The Low Power Hour is surprisingly faithful to that experimental premise. The duo selected a trio of their favorite drummers John Davis and Harris Klahr of Q and Not U, and Justin Moyer of El Guapo and Edie Sedgwick, each of whom selected which songs they wanted to add their parts to. This is a new, unopened CD in its listened to Roto's debut effort The Low Power Hour to the point of nausea, I am still clueless as to what these guys are trying to achieve - and by the sound of things, so are they. The music on The Low Power Hour is reminiscent of the stripped-down, raw alternative sound that everyone was after in the early '90s - just plug the guitar directly into a solid state amplifier and you're there. The sheer lack of melodicism makes this album unlistenable, not to mention the fact that vocalists Arbury and Ingram can't sing, and that their attempts at harmonizing are simply embarrassing. And what about their lyrics . Roto 5 - The Low Power Hour CD, Album. Resin Records 3. The Scott Farkus Affair - Sorrows Learn To Swim Album. 2 버전. Opulence, Ambiguous City.
