Their name is taken from the fictional character Rollo Tomasi in the film LA Confidential. The band formed in 2005 and set their local scene alight by playing a synth driven technical mix of styles and genres difficult to define in a single word. It contains 24 tracks recorded at the BBC studios in London. Between 12 March 1989 and 18 October 2003, Texas recorded ten sessions for the BBC Radio network, selected highlights of which are featured on this collection.
