This album in vinyl was my mother's and my introduction to Roger Whittaker back in the 70's. I paid too much, but just HAD to have it in CD format. There are a couple of songs I have never liked on the album, but the ones I do like more than make up for those. I believe we have the real thing here, The Last Farewell was recorded in 1970, according to the CD insert notes, this timing is about right as I piece together the history of the song.
