Roddy Hart is a Scottish singersongwriter from Glasgow. He tours both solo acoustic, and with his band The Lonesome Fire. After graduating from University with a first-class law degree, Hart put together his 2004 demo album Home Tapes in 4 days on an 8-track recording machine. Roddy Hart: Scottish singer-songwriter, film composer and broadcaster from Glasgow. He has released three solo records - Bookmarks, Sign Language and Road of Bones - and one EP The Dylan EP. Hart now releases albums with his band The Lonesome Fire, the first of which was Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire produced by Patti Smith and Morrissey producer Danton Supple. It peaked at number 36 in Germany. It's the first album to feature Neil Durant on keyboards and it marks the return of original members Paul Cook on drums and Tim Esau on bass, the latter appearing on an IQ album for the first time since 1989.
