The Cock Blocking The Romantics Singles Collection features twelve 7-inch singles that originally were released independently from Robert Pollard as a monthly series back in 2007-2008. The A sides are songs from Robert Pollard’s 2007 simultaneous releases on Merge Records, Standard Gargoyle Decisions and Coast To Coast Carpet Of Love, while the B sides are non-album tracks.

Assembled in a box set for Record Store Day 2013. 300 box sets with all twelve 7"s. Box was also sold separately for those that purchased the 7"s previously. Includes download code for the b-sides only.

Remaining stock from the original pressing of 1000 were used for the box sets so the singles are all still limited to 1000 copies.

During his high school years, he was a successful basketball and baseball player. In spring 2007, Pollard began a singles collection called the Happy Jack Rock Records Single Series in which one 7 record was released per month for 12 months starting June 22, 2007.
