When REO Speedwagon started work on the album that would become Hi Infidelity , they had no idea that they were on the edge of monster commercial success. The record also gave the band its first No. 1 single, Keep on Loving You. Even though they sputtered a bit with the follow-up album, 1982's Good Trouble which still managed to hit the Top 10 and spawn two Top 40 singles, they kept on rolling and soon found themselves with another blockbuster LP, 1984s Wheels Are Turnin'.
