The song was chosen by the big-band leader Randy Brooks the next year as his theme song. The version by the Viscounts has the distinction of being released twice and rising high on the Billboard charts each time: first in 1959, when it peaked at 53, and again in 1966, peaking at 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Randy Brooks Sanford, Maine, March 15, 1919 - March 21, 1967 was an American big band jazz trumpeter and bandleader. Brooks began on trumpet at age six, and by eleven was touring with Rudy Vallee. He then worked with Claude Thornhill, Bob Allen, Bernie Cummins, Art Jarrett, and Les Brown before founding his own band in 1944.
