Sri Lanka Matha Sinhala: ශර ලක මත, romanized: Śrī Laṁkā Mātā Tamil: ஸர லஙக தய, romanized: Srī Laṅkā Tāyē is the national anthem of Sri Lanka. The most widely held view is that Sri Lankan composer Ananda Samarakoon wrote the music and lyrics to the song inspiredinfluenced by Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore.
