In a typically unpredictable U-turn, the follow-up re-casts them as 70s southern rock specialists. On the snake-hipped boogie of Jailbird and Rocks they nail that riff-driven swamp sound, while Im Gonna Cry Myself Blind and Everybody Needs Somebody pull off the harder trick of playing it slow, soulful and gorgeous. By recruiting funk godfather George Clinton for the title track though, they still add some cosmic adventure to their retro gumbo. Give Out But Don't Give Up Deluxe Version. It's hard for Primal Scream to be self-righteous, not when they're singing about sleaze in an attempt to live up to their rock & roll dreams, but Give Out But Don't Give Up is hampered by the group's stylized idolization. Can anyone tell me where the title of the last track has been gleaned from? I've never seen a version of this album with it actually named; it's not even listed as a track on the tracklistings on any version I'm aware of. Has it just been arbitrarily given a name? In which case, should it not really be listed as 'Untitled track'?

Jesus is the name of the track I’m sure it’s on the Memphis sessions. Loved the screams ballads around that time

pyenapple It isn't a track with no title, it simply isn't listed. If the version matches a titled track on other releases, it does actually have a title. I think that's the difference here. Yes, that makes sense, as long as it's always mentioned in the notes, in line with RSG §1.7.4.

I'm happy to accept that the title can be taken from the evidence that it was thus titled on a contemporaneous release, but, whilst you're right, a different version appears on The Original Memphis Recordings, the logic doesn't follow unless we're going to re-title 'I'll Be There For You' as 'Jesus' as well.I asked the original question because RSG §12.4.1 states that "Tracks with no title should be listed as "Untitled"". Given that, on the majority of releases of this album, the track is not titled, I still think it should be listed as such, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it.
