PLANK63 is a force to be reckoned with, hailing from the Boston area and home to many rock icons of the past. Their catchy melodies and hard rock edge have made them a favorite in New England and abroad. After a record breaking stay at Number One on Garageband.Com, their song "Patchwork" has become an all-time hit. Plank63's music is described by many as "infectious hooks, anthemic choruses, and crushing rhythms". Their new release "Symmetry" is now successfully being test marketed by select Clear Channel radio stations around the country. A true appreciation of this act, however, can only be gained at one of their impressive live shows.

PLANK63 emerged onto the New England music scene in 2003 and had an immediate impact. Their presence, both musically and visually, captures audiences and leaves them chanting for more. In time they released their first recording, "Divisional", under their own power, known as Dieseled Productions, which was quickly followed by impressive sales and radio airplay. Now, with the recent release of their full length CD, "Symmetry", this band has shifted into second gear.

Guitarist Donnie Vito formed PLANK63 after doing time as the young new guitar player in "The Sib Hashian Project", with the legendary drummer from the multi-platinum band "Boston". Donnie Vito recruited his friend James Whitman for bass guitar, and joined the vocalist/drummer team of Cameron Mackenzie and Ara Stepanian who were also looking to hone their songwriting craft and live performances. From the first moment they played together, they knew they had the pieces in place to take it to the next level of their musical careers.

As one of the hardest working bands in Boston, these guys are as committed as ever to giving the audience the best show. This band of rock brethren is having fun and enjoying the successes of a band with a loyal fan base and continue to land opening slots for national acts.
