Pink Floyd The Discovery Box Set Floyd. Oh by the Way. Your Rating. If it had that CD, this would be easy to recommend without reservation for Floyd diehards. Without it, it's still recommended, as it looks great, but a set this grand should be complete, not fall just short of it. Track Listing - Disc 1. Oh, By the Way doesn't do much to make a specific case for Pink Floyd as an artistic entity- it just drops everything in your lap and asks you to sort through it. But the odds of anybody not having any of this and wanting it all seem kind of slim, something the 10,000-copy run of this set probably anticipated. Publicación: Diciembre 10 U. K, Diciembre 11 . I took the plunge and bought what I was 90% sure was one of these Chinese versions, it was going for £22.49 on Ebay. It arrived today and yes, it's definitely a fake! The quality of the artwork and printing is nothing short of hilarious, all the spelling mistakes that others have mentioned are present with an even funnier one that I'd not heard of yet i.e. on the actual CD of Atom Heart Mother it says "The Ponk Floyd" and instead of "Funky Dung" we have "Funky Dong", I cracked up when I first saw it.The card quality is crap and very thin and bendy, each CD comes with a useless cheap plastic inner, half the CDs in my set had marks on them already. The sound quality is ok though but it's anyone's guess what the source is, vinyl, CD? or perhaps a mixture of both! ASOS certainly sounds pretty muddy (it always did though) but WYWH & Animals sounded pretty good to me.Anyway the bottom line is that this is certainly not the official version as there is absolutely no way that Floyd would put out such a shoddy laughable product.I complained to Ebay who of course did absolutely nothing and the same seller is still selling the same fake set but now he's charging 32.99! There are a few Chinese sellers selling the same set so beware, if it's cheap it's almost certainly going to be the fake!I did get a full refund so it ended up costing me nothing and if nothing else it's quite amusing how badly done this set is, I find it hard to believe that whoever made these thought that no one would notice the many, many, many errors!

Oh, by the way... here's some tips on how to spot a counterfeit.-Meddle does NOT have a textured cover, and is spelled as "Medle" on the spine-Obscured by Clouds also does not have its sleeve with the matte finish/rounded corners-"www.pinkfloyd.co.uk" is misspelled in the copyright section on the bottom of the box-Wish You Were Here is missing its black outer plastic sleeve

I got one of these chinese albums in my local record festival. I was looking for the album A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and I came across this mini-LP format for 5€. I realised afterwards he folding is poorly made, the whole printing quality of the cover/sleeve isn't very good, every word is blurry and cannot be read. Even a typo on the title "Signs of Liff" instead of life. Well, at least the music is on it and it wasn't expensive, haha !

There's a bunch of mistakesMeddle is spelled Medle, Pink Floyd is Pink Gloyd on one Cd, the black sleeve is NOT on Wish you were here album, on the box, we can read: Divison bell instead of Division bell....The printing on the discs are not really good (color, focus) as the covers.Gatefold covers should not have dotted lines to help the folding. Folding of the covers is very bad causing wrinkles.“The Wall” album should have a sticker with album name on front cover.Instead the album name is printed straight on the cover. Also here you can see smudge.Apparently the sounds is ok.

I bought one of these just because...not that I needed it. I have played most of the cds and they all played fine on my home theater system. Now if you're an audio snob (i.e. you only listen to music on multi-million dollar audio systems!) then you would probably not get this set. One other thing, inside the box, it looks like 'mold'...all splotchy. But it hasn;t affected the dscs or covers inside.
