Mono and stereo versions have same numbers on the sleeve (6266 on back, RS 6266 on spine) - the mono version has "6266" on brown 'herald' labels, while the stereo has "S-6266". There is a printed "stereo" rosette on the back, and the mono has a red sticker with "mono" placed over this (though these tend to drop off with age). T

Among them, the Six Concertos for Two Organs by Padre Antonio Soler are especially distinguished. The only known source is the auto graphed manuscript preserved in the music archives of the Monastery of Escurial in Spain. The concertos were composed expressly for the diversion of Gabriel de Bourbon 1752-1788, younger brother of King Charles III of Spain, for whom Soler was music master. Soler's Six Concertos for Two Organs are still very much in the repertoire and have often been recorded. A fandango once attributed to Soler, and probably more often performed than any other work of his, is now thought by some to be of doubtful authorship. Selected discography.
