• no amount of words is enough to describe how much I love this album that unfortunately has gone under the radar for most music lovers in 2015. I don't understand why no one knows about it... I guess in this era of digital impersonal relations and cultural satiety it became so easy to get distracted and overlook something truly genuine, something real and unique. I think it's really hard for an artist to draw attention these days if he doesn't have any promotional campaign, doesn't want to brag about himself, and wants to let the music speak for itself in an oldschool romantic fashion.
So here we are, "Our Loving Sun". An album that is so moody, atmospheric, and sensual. An album which has such an exquisite production, futuristic and at the same time giving a few nods to the past.. After looking through the excellent pdf booklet it became absolutely clear to me that this album was made with love and care. It can be tricky with the vocals sometimes, espcially male, but here they are done in a beautiful, rather restrained but expressive way, just as it shoud be done.. The lyrics coupled with music of such high quality radiate coolness and more than that, they are quite profound and actually mean something, at least for me they do.
Thank you Anders Ilar, Chris Jones, and everybody involved! You literally made my evening walks during spring and autumn of 2015 and, well, my life - I'm pretty sure I'll remember your music till my last day under our loving Sun •
