Featured items. Opus Avantra is an Italian band which combines different genres. It is sometimes classified as Italian progressive rock and avant-prog. The band is on the Nurse With Wound list, and have released a concept album. The Opus Avantra were formed in Veneto in 1973 by a group composed of soprano Donella Del Monaco, the niece of the tenor Mario Del Monaco concept, voice and text, pianist-composer Alfredo Tisocco direction ensemble, music, piano and keyboards , the philosopher Giorgio Bisotto. Album : Opus Avantra Donella Del Monaco Rituale Ashralem, Nel piccolo giardino Unclassifiable Italian rock, jazz, classical, avant-garde AVANTRA released LIVE CONCERTS EXCERPTS, in 2007. Pianist Alfredo Tisocco alternated between concerts and his own compositions and artistic direction of the ensemble Opus Avantra, with whom he recorded 5 critically acclaimed albums that won them international renown particularly in Japan. On his own, Tisocco recorded 12 LPs, each of considerable significance. The first album, Opus Avantra - Donella Del Monaco came out with two slightly different back covers. One of the two versions, probably the first print, has a small sticker in the bottom left corner with catalogue number TRI 1006, which doesn't appear on the cover, and the writing Cetra. Lyrics and Live concerts excerpts, an unreleased live album with 1977-91 recordings this CD has been later issued separately. The albums in this box sets have all mini gatefold covers reproducing the original artworks, and some of them also include an insert. Each box set also includes a foldout insert.
